These empanadas were probably the best I've ever had. Yummy strong coffee and the beignet trio was phenomenal and super fresh.
Was looking for just coffee, but the empanada display added food to my list. Customer service is very good, and the empanada exceeded all my expectations. I ordered the spinach and feta (don't judge me) empanada, and it was delicious. I ordered an Americano coffee, and it is good as well. They also have flavored coffees if that's your thing. Inside seating is limited, so it's best as a grab and go place.

ive never had mushroom-based coffee and cafe buenos aires made my first experience that much more special bc of so! the shop itself is so intimate and staff were really sweet and attentive to my visit! my favorite empanada would be the mushroom one! during my visit i ordered/tried the chorizo empanada, beef empanada, mushroom empanada, along with mini beignet chocolate trio (White, Dark, Hazelnut) and for my coffee i got the chagaccino! which at first i was hesitant to try bc i heard mushroom based coffee?? but the taste was actually did not have any mushroom flavors and the mixture of the drink itself made the drink itself taste delicious so 10/10 would recommend for yall to try it out! for the beignet they were good but i think i would prefer other fillings -however if youre a fan of chocolate then yall would really appreciate this trio loved how relax and intimate the whole visit felt. theres a small indoor seating along with various outdoor seating spots nearby! tips: street parking available lots of food and menu options available
The BEST homemade empanadas with a variety of flavors - the new poblano mole is to DIE for and they said a new birria flavor is coming soon! The staff is so nice and makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in - they also make pastries and fresh smoothies/juices that are delightful (no added sugars, super refreshing!) It's a small, cozy shop with outdoor and window seating right next to the stanford hospital so it's convenient for me. Will always come here when i'm in the area and get a dozen to take home for the week!

lovely staff!! 🥹Calm and relaxing environment. The windows with sun shinning through is so beautiful! I grabbed a matcha, empanada, and tamale ! Matcha 10/10 recommend ⭐️ The empanada and tamale was also delicious!! Prices were also good. Excited to make this my new matcha spot since I work down the street! Also happy that it’s somewhere I feel welcomed !
Best empanadas in East Bay. Variety of flavor, thin skin, packed stuffing. The way you want and expect. Situated at the corner, so find parking on the street.
